Dylanie recently graduated in the class of 2020 from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, and is now an incoming freshman at the CU Boulder College of Arts and Sciences where she plans to major in psychology. Her passion for mental health and creativity led her to join the Crown Institute’s “m.b.v.” Youth Team during her junior year, where she had the opportunity to put her love as an artist into her work. Dylanie cares deeply about people and is not afraid to stand up when she hears someone speaking harshly towards others or towards themselves - she has a voice and she will use it. She hopes to one day pursue a career in cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as continue to explore the ways in which art and other forms of creativity can become intertwined with the social sciences.
