We understand that your needs as an online student are unique, and we are committed to helping you succeed. With that in mind, we are excited to announce a new partnership with Smarthinking, the online tutoring service that provides convenient access to expert tutors in the subject areas you need most, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With Smarthinking, you can get one-on-one help through your computer or mobile device, so you get the academic support you need, whenever you need it. Submit your question(s) and receive feedback within 24 hours, use the whiteboard to interact with tutors for immediate help, or schedule a time with a tutor that works for you.
Examples of help can include:
- Probability distributions for Data Science Algorithms
- Clarifying math concepts for Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Python programming troubleshooting
- Writing support for an essay in Cognitive Science or Cybersecurity
Degree-seeking students are eligible for up to 5 hours of tutoring per semester, and tutoring will primarily best support you with foundational coursework. This should be a supplement to your academic journey, and, as always, we encourage you to attend office hours and work with your instructor as a primary method of support.
