Alec's primary research topics are robotics and autonomous systems. He is also broadly interested in topics to enhance autonomous systems such as machine learning and computer vision. He has spent 4 years in the aerospace industry as a network design engineer after completing his Bachelors at Gonzaga University. Alec is advised by Christoffer Heckman and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga and a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
