Mary Martin
She/Her • Ph.D. Candidate
Computer Science

Mary is a PhD student in the Autonomous Robotics and Perception Group. Her research surrounds robotic perception and the intersection of language and vision. Mary uses graph structures to fuse spatial information gathered from scenes and referring expressions. Her ultimate goal with this research involves creating robust robotic planning systems with the ability to make inferences using leveraged spatial data. Her background is in multi-modal machine learning and she received a BS in Computer Science from Towson University in 2019. In her free time, Mary enjoys making art in a variety of mediums, as well as rock climbing.
