Jacob Bauer graduated from CU in 2005. He is currently employed as a Hydrogeologist and Project Manager at LRE Water in Denver Colorado. Over the last 15 years he has worked on a wide variety of groundwater models, groundwater analyses in support of water rights applications, expert testimony, and optimization of hydrogeological problems. Jacob has been responsible for complex groundwater modeling and field data collection activities in Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Alaska, Nevada, and the Republic of the Congo. Jacob’s interests include the math behind stream depletion timing, geology and earth sciences, DIY boombox construction, fishing, astrophotography, his cats, biking, and skiing.
