Research Interests
Primary Research Focus: My expertise lies in understanding anthropogenic perturbations to the marine carbon cycle (i.e., ocean acidification) and the resultant mineralogical/crystallographic changes that occur in calcareous organisms' tests and skeletons (most predominantly changes occurring in stony coral skeletons).
General Areas of Interest: Raman spectroscopy; Calcium carbonate geochemistry; Chemical oceanography; Ocean acidification; Biomineralization; Geochronology
