Research Interests
Primary Research Focus: My expertise lies in understanding anthropogenic perturbations to the marine carbon cycle (i.e., ocean acidification) and the resultant mineralogical/crystallographic changes that occur in calcareous-organisms' tests and skeletons (most predominantly changes occuring in stony coral skeletons).
General Areas of Interest: Raman Spectroscopy, Inorganic Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Carbonate Geochemistry, Chemical Oceanography, Biomineralization, Geochronology
