Lisa completed her doctorate from CU-Boulder in 1997, using trace element and radiogenic isotopic analysis to investigate early Earth crustal genesis and tectonics in the Torngat Orogen, Northern Labrador, with correlative investigations in southern Baffin Island and Western Greenland. She later transitioned into the Petroleum Industry, working for 25 years as a development and exploration geoscientist at ConocoPhillips and Anschutz Exploration Company. Her love of mentoring and her growing awareness of the importance of interpersonal connection have now led Lisa to become a mental health therapist. She is currently completing her M.A. and Professional Counseling Licensure in clinical mental health counseling at Regis University. Lisa is considering specializing in geotherapy!
