Professional development is a vital element of graduate education. Implementing a holistic approach is imperative as we address the diverse needs of our students. The Graduate School provides many different offerings to help students work towards their goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

In coordination with campus partners, the Graduate School organizes regular workshops and seminars on topics such as Career Planning, Impostor Syndrome and Time Management & Planning. If you are interested in honing your practical and professional skills before entering the job market, make sure to look into our professional badges which will help you stand out from the competition.

The Graduate School also offers the Grad+ Endurance Seminar Series which follow students through their graduate experience. Weekly seminar meetings not only help students build practical skills for professional and personal development, they also provide students with a community of peers who are supportive and engaged.

Whether you are planning a career in academia or in industry, the Graduate School has many wonderful options to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
