Boulder Black Blossoms aims to support the lived and individual experiences and achievements of Black women. This program is open to all CU Boulder graduate students in STEM or Education and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation, political philosophy, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression in accordance with state, federal, and Regent law.

- Boulder Black Blossoms aims to create a supportive and empowering environment to support the advancement of Black women in STEM and Education Graduate fields at CU Boulder. This program focuses on community building, professional development, and fostering an unapologetic sense of self and belonging.
- Established Fall 2024
- Each program participant will receive a $1,000 stipend for their full completion in the year long program.
- To create a supportive network that celebrates and empowers Black women in STEM and Education graduate programs, helping them to feel more connected, supported, and less isolated in their academic and professional pursuits.
- To aid in the personal growth and self-realization of participants by fostering a sense of identity, belonging, and self-promotion in their respective fields and departments.
- To contribute to creating a more inclusive and diverse environment in STEM and Education fields, thereby enriching the academic and research community and culture at CU Boulder.
- All CU Boulder graduate students are welcome to participate in this inclusive group.
- Due to funding constraints, group is limited to 15 individuals 2025-2026.
- Students must be available to attend all Monthly Sista Circle meetings. Tuesdays at 5:30 pm
- Join us for workshops, guest lectures, and community activities designed to enrich your academic and professional journey. Highlights include monthly book studies and special guest speakers.
