Job Description:

This position will work closely with the Monographs (print books) receiver to unpack shipments, check packages for accuracy, and triage orders to their appropriate workflows. Additional duties for the student assistant position will include importing book records into the integrated library system (ILS) software, assisting with inventory projects such as gifts receiving, donations, and assorted projects in monographs and serials receiving. Physical requirements include lifting/moving packages in excess of 30 lbs. and moving loaded book carts within the building. The student assistant will be expected to offer feedback to assist in improving workflows and productivity.
