Caroline Ott

Caroline has worked in the climate sector for over 15 years in roles spanning investment, multilateral, and nonprofit institutions. Caroline is currently the Director of Climate Impact at Vision Ridge Partners, a sustainable investment firm investing in renewable energy, electric transportation, and sustainable agriculture. Previously, Caroline was a Principal at Rocky Mountain Institute, where she established and led the Carbon Markets Initiative and the Climate Finance Access Network, while also authoring several publications on topics including the coal-to-clean transition and sub-national U.S. climate action. Caroline previously worked at the World Bank in the Carbon Markets and Innovation practice, and as a strategy consultant at California Environmental Associates. She began her career as a carbon and environmental markets analyst at Ecosystem Marketplace.

Caroline graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University with a B.A. in Economics and received an M.A. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Outside of work, Caroline loves running; playing piano, flute, and saxophone; and hearing live music around Boulder.
