Paul Hendricks
Lecturer

Paul Hendricks has been working in the fields of conservation and corporate sustainability for over a decade. Throughout that time he has driven efforts to advance action, standards, and innovation in the academic, non-profit, and corporate sectors and become a known and proven leader in this space. He currently is the Director of Sustainability at Rivian, where he leads the company's climate, responsible sourcing, and environmental advocacy work. Prior to joining Rivian, Paul worked at Patagonia, where he managed the company's environmental and social impact strategy development, climate and zero-waste work, and environmental grants program. In all this work, he has been integral to positioning both Rivian and Patagonia as leaders in holistically addressing some of the most pressing environmental and social issues we face today. Before joining Patagonia, Paul worked in the non-profit sector, focusing his efforts in supporting communities working at the nexus of environmental and social justice. He has been teaching in the MENV program at the University of Colorado for three years, and previously designed and taught a class at UC Berkeley.

Paul holds a MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago, a graduate certificate in corporate sustainability from Harvard University, and a BA in Business, Spanish, and Secondary Education from Hope College. In his free time, he can be found running the trails in the front range or ski touring with one of his kids in tote.
