Vasudha joined the Office of Victim Assistance in July 2015.  She earned her BA from California State University – Northridge (CSUN) majoring in Psychology and Religious Studies. During her time at CSUN, she was a leader in providing peer education regarding mental health to the campus community through groups such as the CSUN crisis helpline, the Blues Project (Depression and Suicide), and J.A.D.E (Joint Advocates for Disordered Eating).  Vasudha continued on to receive her MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University’s Graduate School of Psychology.  As an Intern, she worked at the Asian Pacific Development Center in Aurora, CO providing counseling and group facilitation to the refugee community. 

Upon graduating from Naropa, she has worked at the Mental Health Center of Denver, Youth Villages- a program in Boston that works with families- and Mental Health Partners of Boulder County providing individual counseling, family therapy, and psychological assessments.  Through her extensive work experience, Vasudha has found a passion in providing trauma informed modalities to diverse populations.  She believes in holistic counseling which encompasses a wide range of modalities but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Mindfulness.  Vasudha is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by trauma and providing culturally relevant counseling.  Vasudha is bi-lingual in Hindi and English.
