The NSF-sponsored Authentic Research Experiences for Teachers (ARETe) program matches faculty from Colorado two-year colleges with research laboratories in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at CU Boulder for in-depth collaborative research experiences lasting 6-15 weeks, during either the summer or academic year. Participating two-year faculty will also develop pedagogical modules, in collaboration with participating CEAS faculty, aligned with their course goals and outcomes.
Participants will receive a stipend of $8,000 over the course of their program with an additional $2,000 available for supplies, travel, and curricular development.
