Motorcycle/Scooter-specific permits are available to park in any campus motorcycle lot.

CU Boulder features virtual parking access, with no need for printed hang tags. The vehicle's license plate information is registered and associated with the parking access, so your license plate is used to identify your vehicle and is valid to park in only the specific lot or zone you purchase. Parking at meters and pay station lots require additional payment.

  • Motorcycle parking for the CU Boulder campus is available through the online services portal. You will need the motorcycle license plate number(s) at the time of purchase.

Multiple Motorcycles?

Parking can be purchased for multiple motorcycles. (Only one motorcycle/moped can be parked on campus at a time.)

Mopeds & Scooters

Low-power mopeds and scooters are considered "motorcycles" for campus parking and, regardless of engine size, must purchase parking access to park in motorcycle spaces. Any moped or scooter less than 50ccs must be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles in order to purchase motorcycle parking. Visit the Division of Motor Vehicles for details to complete your moped or scooter registration form.
