Tuition & Fee Rate Sheets
These rate sheets provide a detailed breakdown of directly-billed costs including tuition, mandatory fees, other fees and on-campus room and board (housing/food) per semester. To find out what your individual costs might be, most students can Estimate Your Bill or visit general cost pages where we've done some of the math for you.
- 2025–26 Mandatory Student Fee Changes: The following changes to fees will be in effect starting in Fall 2025; student services will remain the same:
- The A&S Tech (ASSET) Fee $1.32 per credit hour will be eliminated for all students starting in Fall 2025.
- The following fees will be converted to tuition starting in Fall 2025 and will no longer be assessed individually (student services will remain the same): Arts & Cultural Enrichment Fee, Career Services Fee, Mental Health Resource Fee, Student Computing Fee, Student Health Fee and the Transit Pass Fee. - Tuition and fee rates are generally based on residency classification, guarantee group, college/school/program or area of study, type of degree and number of credit hours. Please note that undergraduate out-of-state and international tuition is a flat ratefor tuition in fall and spring. The flat rate does not apply in the summer.
- These rates are for Boulder Main Campus classes only. Classes taken at Continuing Education or other CU campuses have separate tuition, fees and billing.
- Costs may vary depending on your area of study. Rates may be subject to change.

Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU Boulder. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance.
