Robert is a Latinx, Colorado native, Straight Edge, Watte Warrior, Anti-racist, Educator, Researcher, Grant Writer, Song Composer, LGBT+ Ally, First-Gen, Graphic Designer, Web Developer, Skateboarding, Grateful Husband and Proud Parent. 

Robert García earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Equity from the University of Colorado Denver, officially becoming Dr. García. He previously completed his MA in Education Equity for Cultural Diversity and his BA in Cultural Geography at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research and academic focus centers on advancing post-secondary success for migrant students and promoting academic excellence for multilingual learners.

With a fervor for finding opportunities for culturally and linguistically diverse learners outside the norms of common practice, Robert works to support those who historically and systematically exist in the margins of everything and helps them to realize their full potential in a manner that dignifies and honors their cultural backgrounds and identities.
