There are several ways to customize your degree as a mechanical engineering undergraduate student including minors, certificates, independent studies, study abroad or pursuing the combined Bachelor's-Accelerated Master's (BAM) program. With many of our mechanical engineering students taking classes in an area of interest such as biomedical engineering or energy, pursuing a minor or other supplemental program is a great way to differentiate your skills and experience when looking for a job.
