Products

We've curated a set of reporting and analytical tools that can provide you with actionable data and insights. Some of these tools require special permissions and/or use of the campus VPN to access. For tools you have access to, you can log in with your CU Boulder identikey and password.

Grades by Department (vpn)

Use Grades by Department to identify grade trends in your department or course. This dashboard provides information on all grades recorded since 2011 with course and instructor information. It drills down to individual classes and their DFW rates and allows for comparison across demographics.

Course Pathways (vpn)

Use Course Pathways to understand the progression of students through a particular course or major. There are two visualizations in this series: (1) Pathways by Course and (2) Pathways by Term.

FY Retention & Graduation Rates

Use this dashboard to identify the retention and graduation rates for first-time, full-time students entering in summer/fall. You can see overall university rates, as well as rates for populations based on selected filters.

Transfer Retention & Graduation Rates

Use this dashboard to identify the retention and graduation rates for transfer students. You can see overall university rates, as well as rates for populations based on selected filters and parameters including different entry terms and full-time/part-time statuses.

Fall Enrollment Over Time By School/College

Use this dashboard to see Fall student enrollment at census in each of the schools and colleges. Other ODA visualizations show overall Fall enrollment, enrollment by major, and international student enrollment.

Spring Enrollment Over Time By School/College

Use this dashboard to see Spring student enrollment at census in each of the schools and colleges. Other ODA visualizations show overall Spring enrollment and enrollment by major.

Enrollment Dashboard (vpn)

Use the Enrollment Dashboard to monitor enrollments in your school, college, or department. The Enrollment Dashboard shows how many currently registered and incoming students are enrolled for the upcoming semester. It also allows you to download a list of students for outreach.

FCQs

ODA administers and manages Faculty Course Questionnaires (FCQs) to evaluate courses and instructors. FCQ results are available to instructors, students, and department administrators from the FCQ website.

Surveys

ODA designs and distributes a variety of surveys to gather information from existing students. These surveys provide insight to better understand successes and challenges at CU Boulder, aid data-informed decision-making and ultimately assist our collaborators in creating a fulfilling experience at CU Boulder.

Consultations

We’re available for 1:1 or small group consultations with staff and faculty that are interested in using our products to action on student success. We can train you how to use these tools and help you derive actionable insights and recommendations.
