A Community of Scholars

The interdisciplinary nature of the CLASP program extended my understanding of language and the ways in which language use impacts the teaching of culturally and linguistically diverse students. The classes I took through the CLASP program encouraged me to step outside the School of Education and gain new perspectives, meet new faculty and students with new ideas, and pushed my thinking into new areas that I would not have otherwise explored.
