Teaching Associate Professor and Teaching Professor Differentiated Workload

Teaching Associate Professors and Teaching Professors who have completed six years (12 semesters) in rank (at 50% time appointment or more) as either a Teaching Assistant Professor promoted to Teaching Associate Professor, or as a Teaching Associate Professor/Teaching Professor, will be eligible to apply for a differentiated workload for one semester.

The differentiated workload will reduce the formal teaching responsibilities of the Teaching Associate Professors or Teaching Professors to one 3-credit course (or its equivalent) for that semester. The Teaching Associate Professor and Teaching Professor Differentiated Workload Application is to be completed by the faculty member and Chair/Director and sent to the Faculty Affairs Coordinator at CAS-Faculty@Colorado.edu for the Dean’s approval signature.
